Shoprite supermarket has a good deal on one of those energy saving desk lamps if anyone needs one.
It's a small desk lamp about 1.5 feet tall or so. The top part moves around to aim the light around. It seems very well built (it's got a heavy feel to it), unlike my last one.
What makes this such a good deal is that it comes with FIVE energy saving bulbs!! They're all 13 watt, soft white (which produces the same light as a normal 60 watt bulb). One bulb says it lasts 10,000 hours, while the other four say 12,000!
I owned one similar to this, but for the same price it had only came with 1 bulb.
